"This poster reflects the four years of growth, trust, and prosperity that Community Bank Bangladesh has provided to its customers since its creation. Designed to be a celebration of the past, but
also a promise for more years of excellent service in the future, the mnemonic perfectly captures the theme of 'Blooming Prosperity.'"
At the core of the design is the number 4 logo, which was created to be branding for the company during its four year anniversary celebrations. Crafted with a mosaic pattern that uses Community Bank's blue and purple hues along with the orange of the local marigold flower, it symbolises diversity, progress, and optimism.
The image of joyous children throwing flowers in the air visually reinforces the symbolism of social upliftment and economic growth. A yellow colour scheme nicely compliments the marigold orange whilst also contrasting against the 4 logo. With the seemless blend of nature, culture, and economic wealth, this graphic is not only a milestone marker but also a powerful representation of Community Bank's journey towards a better future in Bangladesh.
This poster was created during an internship period with a graphic design company in Bangladesh. I was assigned the task of producing ideas for a logo and poster to commemorate the four year anniversary of Community Bank following from a design brief.
The design brief stated to use the line "Blooming Prosperity" to influence the design and so I decided that flowers and children would be a strong combination that embodied these words. After experimenting with flowers in the Community Bank logo, I concluded that a mosaic pattern delivered the strongest message. I tested out different layouts and imagery, and explored with using original cartoon illustrations or photography. Eventuallly, I determined that a combination of simplicity and real-life photographs carried the most feeling and had the best aesthetic quality which resulted in my final design.
